- Delhi excise dept allows pvt shops to offer up to 25 pc discount on liquor MRP
An order issued by the excise commissioner of Delhi on Friday stated that the government has recommended that rebate or discount up to 25 per cent of the MRP will be allowed on the sale of liquor in jurisdiction of NCT of Delhi with strict compliance of Rule 20 of the Delhi Excise Rules, 2010. - Starting June 1, Delhiites can charge their EVs free of cost from noon to 3pm
The move is aimed at promoting the use of electric vehicles and also to incentivise EV charging at public stations, authorities said. This initiative of free afternoon charge to EV users is being taken up by an EV charging startup ElectriVa, which has set up over 40 public charging stations in partnership with the three civic bodies.
